Dear Editor, Rep. Orr says, “For years, Texans were told to wait for Washington to act — to wait for the Biden administration to get serious about border security...”
RESPONSE: Two things. First, Trump was president for a 4-year term before Biden. What did he do about crafting immigration reform? Be specific on the policy he passed. Second, Biden was ready to sign comprehensive immigration reform, and Congress was on board to send it to him, then Trump called and had Republicans tank the bill. WHY?
