The Fairfield City Council met and tackled a lengthy agenda on Tuesday evening, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m.
Ludy Lynn Byram spoke to the council about the need for street lights on East Main at the intersection of Bonner and Love Street. He pointed out that it is extremely dark and hard to see the streets at night.
Jacob Pratt and Dawn Morgan were approved as civilians/police cadets and will be enrolled in the Navarro College Police Academy for January enrollment. Pratt currently serves in the National Guard and Morgan is a licensed dispatcher for the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department.
