Fairfield City Cemetery Association members held their first memorial on Saturday, Oct. 5. Families and friends of those buried there shares a meal, fellowship and payid tribute to their loved ones. The memorial will be a fundraiser to maintain the cemetery.
The cemetery was founded in 1851 and the land was donated by David Hall Love.
Officers include President Leslie Freeman, Secretary/Treasurer Rebecca Dodge and Board of Directors members Loretta Andersen and Amelia Gallegos.
