All 13 Lady Eagles received All-District honors this season.
Fairfield won the district for the seventh consecutive year and made it to the Regional Final for the sixth consecutive year.
Senior Avery Thaler was named the District MVP.
The Defensive MVP went to sophomore Blayke Brackens.
Senior Lillian McBean received the Heart & Hustle Award.
First Team All-District honors went to junior Jimilyah Nash and sophomore Kaylee Williams.
McBean and junior Jaci Abram earned Second Team All-District honors.
Honorable Mention All-District went to senior Kristavia Nelms and freshman Jacelynn Schmidt.
Coach Randy Barger was named Coach of the Year.
“It was time for Coach Barger to be recognized for the impact he has had on our kids and on our program,” Coach Sally Whitaker said. “He has done a phenomenal job the past five years, and I am proud that the coaches in our district recognized his influence.”
Academic All-District honors went to seniors McBean, Nelms, Thaler and Charlee Brackens; juniors Abram, Nash, Jalecia Mc-Millian and Addison Posey; and sophomores Williams, Blayke Brackens, Delaney McGowan and Rhett Ralstin.
“I think the girls were represented very well within the All District awards. They definitely earned the awards they received,” Whitaker said. “I am most proud of having 12 girls on the All Academic team.
That shows you how hard they work on the court and in the classroom.”
