A 30-year-old Weslaco man was killed early Monday in a twovehicle crash north of Fairfield, authorities said.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash about 6 a.m. on FM 488 near FM 1124.
A preliminary investigation found that a Chevrolet Impala was traveling north when it left the roadway for unknown reasons. As the driver attempted to re-enter the roadway, the vehicle lost control and collided with a southbound Dodge Ram, DPS said.
