The Fairfield Eagles (3-2) will enter district play on Friday night against their rival, the Teague Lions (4-1). The Eagles are on a three-game winning streak after losing their first two games of the season.
“The first half of the season is over. This year is flying by,” Fairfield Head Coach John Bachtel said. “I feel that we have gotten better in non-district. We need to keep improving each day.”
Kickoff for the Fairfield and Teague game is at 7 p.m. at Eagle Stadium. All district games are set for 7 p.m. this season.
