There will be multiple city and school board elections coming up on May 2. Candidates had to file for the positions by Friday, Feb. 13. Early voting will begin on Tuesday, April 21.
City
For the City of Fairfield, Bobby Nichols and Michael Daniels, Sr. are running for Mayor. Nichols is currently serving as the Interim Mayor. Running for Place 1 are Roger Keeton and Bill Freeman. Place 1 is currently empty, but was previously held by James Tyus. Running for Place 2 are Kenny Hughes and Toni Abram. Cur- rently, Arland Thill holds the Place 2 position.
