Katy was on spring break this week. I have spring break next week. It wasn’t the best. I really wish we all would have the same week off. Before we know it, summer will be here. I’m looking forward to summer and being able to relax a little more.
The Fairfield Eagles basketball team had a fantastic season. They made it to the Regional Championship and lost to Orangefield 74-68. They had not been that far since 1966. Congratulations on a great season Eagles!
The Limestone County Fair kicks-off Saturday night, March 21, in Groesbeck with Giovannie & The Hired Guns before events are held all week long with the sale being held on Saturday, March 28. Before we know it, the 104th Freestone County Fair will be here. Mark your calendars for June 1520. We are so blessed to have these county fairs in our area. The youth are truly blessed with businesses, organizations, and individuals who support them for all of their hard work and dedication with their projects.
