Two Fairfield ISD school buses were involved in a minor accident near Fairfield High School on Post Oak Road on Tuesday morning, March 10, at approximately 7:15 a.m.
According to FISD Superintendent Joe Craig, Bus 14, while attempting to make a left turn leaving the high school, collided with the side of Bus 21, which was traveling northbound.
Bus 14 had already unloaded students at the junior high and high school prior to the accident. At the time of the incident, Bus 14 had 11 students (Elementary: 3, Intermediate: 8) and the driver. Bus 21 had 23 students (Elementary: 6, Intermediate: 7, Junior High: 5, High School: 5), along with the driver and a bus monitor.
