BUFFALO, Texas — The 8th Annual Buffalo Pro Rodeo has officially wrapped, and by every measure, this year’s event set a new benchmark for success in Leon County.
Traditionally held in September, the beloved rodeo made its debut in a new March timeslot this year — and the move proved to be a game changer. With ideal weather and a surge of community excitement, attendance skyrocketed, with gate numbers reaching three times those of the September 2025 event.
Organizers say the energy throughout the weekend was unmatched.
