York’s Reserve Champion Lamb Goes for $42,000 at HLSR

Addyson York, a freshman at Teague High School, won her class and then was named the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) in March.

Her lamb, Boozie, sold for $42,000 at the HLSR auction. To a State Farm Office out of the Houston area.

When asked about winning Reserve Champion, York said, “I felt extremely grateful and proud of myself. Houston is the “super bowl “ of stock shows and getting that handshake was a feeling I will never forget.”
