Fairfield Police, DPS SWAT Arrest Suspect on Multiple Charges

On April 1, at approximately 5:45 a.m., officers with the Fairfield Police Department, along with command staff, executed multiple arrest warrants for Quincy Trevun Robinson. The warrants were obtained by the Fairfield Police Department as a result of an ongoing investigation and included four counts of Burglary of a Vehicle, one count of Theft of a Firearm, and one count of Tampering with an Electronic Tracking Device.

Due to the nature of the charges and in the interest of officer safety, the Fairfield Police Department requested assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) SWAT team in executing the warrants.

At approximately 5:45 a.m., DPS SWAT made entry into Robinson’s last known location in the 100 block of Bonner Street in Fairfield. Robinson was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. He was then transported to the Freestone County Jail, where he was booked in on the listed charges. No injuries were reported during the operation. The scene was secured, and no additional suspects were located.
