A large group of Fairfield FFA students traveled to Stephenville on Wednesday, April 8. When all was said and done, two teams advanced to the state contest.
The Farm Business Management team consisting of Connor Colvert, Mason Edwards, Franscisco Espinoza, and Obie Crook grabbed third place to advance to state which will be held on Friday, April 24, at Sam Houston State University. Edwards placed seventh as an individual in the competition.
The Livestock Judging team made up of Arden Strait, Peyton Johnson, Kenna Coufal, and Blake Phillips garnered fifth place overall to qualify for state. Their state contest will be on Saturday, April 25, at Texas A&M University.
