An end to the unseasonably warm weather seen in Central Texas is expected this week, according to the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth.
The weather service noted there would be a “mid-October chill” in the central United States this week as a cold front sinks to the south and into northern Mexi-co. Prior to the cold front arriving, summer-like weath-er would linger, it said.
Although the day started off cool in the 50s Tuesday morning, the temperature was expected to reach the low 90s in the afternoon before dropping to the 50s again in the evening due to the cold front moving into the area.
