The 5th Annual Freestone County Go Texan BBQ Cook-Off Texas State Championship will take place this weekend, April 24-25, at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.
There will be vendors, shopping, and food trucks to enjoy throughout the weekend. A bounce house, park, and face painting will be available for the kids. Cotton candy will be provided to the kiddos on Saturday.
A team meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday evening. Deadlines on Friday night include Cooks Choice at 7:30 p.m. and Margarita at 8:30 p.m. A Bloody Mary turn in will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
