Court ties up loose ends on grant funds

The Freestone County commissioners held a meeting with ARPA representatives to finish the county’s report on the extreme weather event in May-June of this year.

ARPA is the American Rescue Plan Act, which provides funds to counties and cities to assist in financial recovery from the pandemic.

That meeting was held as the final agenda item of the Oct. 8 commissioners court meeting.
