Jason Brackens, a senior at Fairfield High School, signed his letter of intent to play football at Nelson University in Waxahachie on Friday, April 10.
“I’m very excited and honored that I get to pursue a football career at the next level,” Brackens said.
When asked what made him decide to choose Nelson University, he said, “I loved the campus and proximity to home and the people were amazing. All the coaches and students were very welcoming.” Jason will be a running back for the Lions.
