Gustavo Aguilera signed with Western Texas College to continue his baseball career on Thursday, May 7.
“I’m so excited that I’m getting to play at the next level,” Aguilera said. “It was always a dream of mine to play college ball.”
When asked what made him decide to choose Western Texas College, he said, “The coaches at Western really saw potential in me and took time to recruit me and that meant a lot to me.” Aguilera will be a pitcher for the Westerners. He says that he is looking forward to the experience of being a student athlete at the college level. Aguilera plans to pursue a degree in business and own his own business one day.
