Kevin Benedict and John Fryer took their oath of office to continue serving on the Fairfield ISD school board for the next three years at the Monday, May 11, FISD school board meeting. Benedict received 411 votes and Fryer 338 votes. They defeated Keith Whitaker who received 285 votes.
Teachers Gay Lynn Swan, Joel Kuehl. Katie Wade, Jill Schick, Nanceen Hoskins, Kimberly Vargas, Sarah Block, and Shannon Block were honored for receiving TIA funds.
FCCLA State Qualifiers and Medalists; UIL State Qualifiers, FFA CDE State Qualifiers, Softball All-District, State Track Qualifiers, and Baseball All-District were honored in front of the board by their coaches and sponsors.
