A busy, but enjoyable week at the center. It was so wonderful to see our volunteer drivers for Meals on Wheels, Ed and Kit Prasil, return last Tuesday! Kit had been out due to an injury and surgery since January of this year. Our homebound folks really missed them. They both do an amazing job and are incredibly wonderful with the sweet people on their route.
Wow, graduation is around the corner, and school will be out soon. Congratulations to the graduates, TISD staff, and parents who made it all possible—hats off to all of you!
Thank you to Sindra McLean with Angels Care of Groesbeck for sponsoring our Bingo last Wednesday. Due to another engagement, she couldn’t stay to call the Bingo sessions. Thanks to Emilio Martinez for so generously filling in at the last minute. He did a great job, and I wouldn’t doubt that he will be asked to return soon.
