Teague Man Arrested in Limestone County for $4.2K Cash Theft

A Teague man was arrested in Limestone County after allegedly stealing a total of more than $4,200 dollars in cash and other valuables in early May.

Ycoveack Stevenson, 36, was arrested in connection to a May 12 vehicle burglary 500 block of Main Street in Teague. Surveillance video reviewed by the Teague Criminal Investigation Division, as well as witness testimony, linked Stevenson to the crime. According to the police, Stevenson was boasting about breaking into a vehicle following the burglary.

An arrest warrant was soon issued for Stevenson. He was arrested in Limestone County last weekend on an unrelated disturbance call, during which the authorities confirmed the outstanding Teague warrant.
