Due to the Memorial Day closure last Monday, we had a shorter week. Attendance was somewhat lower, but we understand with appointments and other commitments, and miss everyone. Wednesday is always special. Krista Ball, our sponsor from Teague Nursing and Rehab, rewarded everyone with fantastic prizes. Everyone enjoys her presence. Her contagious personality truly brightens our day. Thanks to Marvin Thompson, a good friend of our Senior Center, for the generous Bingo prizes he personally donated. This isn’t the first time he has done something special for us, and it won’t be the last. Such generosity and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated. Everyone was excited about the additional options.
We also thank a special lady, who remains anonymous, for treating our friends in the dining room last week to banana pudding and Blue Bell ice cream. She consistently surprises us with something special.
