Construction is underway at Fairfield Elementary School. Bond improvements include a new secure vestibule at the front entrance and new awnings at the front of the building and on the east side to improve the car rider pickup area. These projects are expected to be completed before the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
To prepare for construction of the new Fairfield High School, Fairfield ISD Central Administration is relocating to the CTE Building at 961 E. Commerce Street. District staff began moving during the week of June 1, with all offices expected to be fully relocated by June 15.
The move will allow site work for the new Fairfield High School to begin in early July. The goal remains to open the new campus in August 2028.
