HUNTINGTON — Kohl Collins threw for 307 yards and six touchdowns on 6-of-8 passing before watching the final 27 minutes from the sideline as the Fairfield Eagles stormed to a 56-7 win over the Huntington Red Devils in district action here Friday night.
Collins hit Calyn Wilson in stride for a 53-yard touchdown on the Eagles first offensive play of the game. That was a sign of things to come as he would eventually throw touchdowns on each of his first four attempts, all coming in the first quarter.
His sixth touchdown pass of the night was a 37-yarder to Wilson, which was quickly followed by a Finn Smith 10yard touchdown run that put the Eagles on top of an overmatched Huntington squad 49-0 with three minutes remaining in the first half.
