The Way I Should Walk

I remember when I was young, playing a game in which one person was blindfolded and the other person then gave instructions on where to walk.”Turn to your right!” “Turn to your left!” “Watchout for that hole, don’t step in it!” “You’d better back up and turn around and go the other direction!” It was a silly game, but it was up to the one who could see to make sure the blindfolded one didn’t walk into a wall, if in the house, or walk into a tree, or fall into a hole or fall onto the street, if the two of you were outside. I can’t remember the name of the game, maybe it was a version of “Blind Man’s Bluff”.

However, there are many people who are like that blindfolded one today. They seem to amble around not sure of where they are going or what they are to do. When do they turn “this way” or “that way” in order to not get into trouble.

When I think about all the absurd things that people do today, I don’t mind telling you that I have a hard time “wrapping my mind” around their actions! It makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever! But do you know what? The Word of God, the Bible, makes “a ton of sense.” It is the one book that lays out a plan for our lives each day of the week.
