The Fairfield Police Department announced on Friday, June 26, that K9 Officer Farock tragically passed away on Friday, June 12, due to a heat-related incident in Ennis, Texas.
“It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the end of watch for K9 Officer Farock, a German Shepherd who served this department and the Fairfield community with distinction,” Fairfield Police Chief Albert Gallegos said.
The Ennis Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, and the Fairfield Police Department is fully cooperating with the investigation.
