This week will see the decision of the people for the direction and purpose of our government in what most citizens pray will be a real correction from the plainly failed current and past administrations. They are in fact, the same administration warmed over for too many years.
Last week’s edition of this paper included another high-fog content Letter to the Editor filled with errors and disinformation too numerous to list here; the first erroneous statement about date of the Declaration of Independence (1776) is a case in point. The fact is that Thomas Jefferson wrote and edited the document in 1775 after the actual opening of hostilities at Concord and Lexington, Mass. He revised and modified it before submitting it to the Continental Congress later that year where, after many further edits, it was adopted the following year. A minor point, but telling. The rest of the writer’s “points of interest” in denigrating Mr. Trump are as usual full of fuzzy, vague, and arguably disinformation. The issue TODAY COULD NOT BE MORE SIMPLE: we stay the course of leftist failed government, or we get the ox out of the ditch and fix America. It’s one or the other.
