The Fairfield Lady Eagles knocked off the Little River Academy Lady Bees in three straight sets on Monday evening, Nov. 4, to win the Bi-District Championship in China Spring. The Lady Eagles move to 29-12 on the season.
“Winning in three was a big deal tonight, and I’m incredibly proud of the girls,” Coach Kelly Ridge said. “We scouted Little River Academy, and we knew they were a good team. We came prepared, and it showed.”
Little River Academy jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first set. However, the Lady Eagles went on a 10-0 run and forced the Lady Bees to call a timeout. Fairifeld went on to win the first set 25-12.
