Fairfield ISD collaborated with the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce as well as other area organizations to host a Veterans Day ceremony Monday morning, Nov. 11, at the Johnson Activity Center.
The posting of the colors was led by Nadia Haskins and Addison Posey. Jaci Abram led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Grand Band from Eagle Land played the National Anthem.
Jimiyah Nash welcomed everyone in attendance. The veterans in attendance had special seats on the floor of the Johnson Activity Center and were recognized by name during a roll call by Mason Edwards. Edwards also made the announcement of the military branches.
