We had some really nice days to fish this past week as it felt so good to take a brisk boat ride and then enjoy a mild Fall morning on the Lake! The Catfish and White Bass also thought it was a good idea to aggressively bite as we filled the ice chest with fish! We did a little scouting on my Saturday trip after catching some nice Cats and headed to the Main Lake in search of White Bass. We found some small Schools of BIG Whites on Main lake Points in 20’-25’ feet of water and caught them two at a time on Silver Slabs with a Jig Teaser.
We continue to catch all our Catfish on Mr. Whisker’s Cheese Punch Bait on a Treble Hook and are fishing in the timber up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. We will have good action there all the remainder of the Year and into early 2025. The White Bass action normally lasts until the really cold weather ( If we have any this coming year) that arrives in January or February. The last couple of years, the action in December has been great as we experienced mild temperatures, not too many Cool Fronts and AWESOME FISHING!
Adam and I are booked up the remainder of November, but have the following dates available in December....2,3,7, 9 thru 12, 14, 16 thru 19, 21,27, 28, 30, & 31.
