The Friends of the Fairfield Library have begun creating a Festival of Trees for the children and families to enjoy inside the library during the Christmas Season. This annual fundraiser runs from Thanksgiving through the first of the new year. It consists of decorated tree sponsorships sold to businesses and individuals. Each decorated Christmas tree will have a sign placed by the tree showing the tree sponsor during the duration of the festival. Stop by the library and enjoy the beautifully decorated trees and consider sponsoring a tree by your business or family.

The Festival of Trees generated $1,950 in 2023, which was used to support the summer programs and to enhance technology at the library. Angela Oglesbee, Friends of the Library representative, says all sponsorships are appreciated and help the library with needed items or programs.
