The Fairfield Eagles went 1-3 in the Lorena Tournament over the weekend to move to 1-4 on the season.
Fairfield fell to the Central Heights Blue Devils 6048 on Thursday, Dec. 5. Kavion Hicks led the way for the Eagles with 11 points. Kohl Collins added 9 points, Madden McElroy and Airen Roberts 6 each, Connor Colvert and Manny Brown 4 apiece, Jaevion McEloy 3, Joshua George and Will Zachary 2 each, and Jason Brackens 1.
On Friday, Dec. 6, the Eagles played the McGregor Bulldogs and took a 62-45 victory. George led the way for Fairfield with 14 points. Brown added 10 points, M. McElroy 8, Collins and Hicks 6 each, Davonte Alexander, Colvert, and Roberts, and Zachary 4 apiece, and Brackens 2.
The Eagles then fell to Faith Academy on Friday night 75-66. Keyshawn Turner led the way for the Eagles with 22 points. Collins added 11 points, J. McElroy 9, Zachary 6, Colvert 5, M. McElroy 4, George 3, and Brackens, Hicks, and Roberts 2 each.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, Fairfield fell to Liberty Christian in a high scoring game, 110-87. Turner and Brown led the way for Fairfield with 16 points each. M. McElroy added 10 points, Roberts 9, Brackens 8, George 7, J. McElroy and Zachary 6 a piece, Colvert 5, and Collins and Alexander 2 each.
Fairfield played Madisonville on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The Eagles will be in their own tournament this weekend before starting district play next Tuesday, Dec. 17, against the Groesbeck Goats.
