Freestone County Commissioners held a special meeting Monday, Dec. 2, to address several issues, adding three county employees to the Child Protective Services board of directors, and taking other action before adjourning.
The commissioners also kept the burn ban lifted; approved a $250,000 bond on a road use agreement; approved an engagement letter for this coming year’s audit; and approved the Workers Comp renewal.
As for the county employees added to the Child Protective Services board, they included Louise Brown, Mandy Chavers and Christal Smith.
