Christmas festivities are already under way in Fairfield, and one of the biggest Christmas festivities will be held this weekend.
The Home for the Holidays Christmas Celebration will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Freestone County Courthouse. There will be crafts, performances, wagon rides, local vendors, food trucks, face painting, balloon artist, and so much more.
The Home for the Holiday Parade begins at 4 p.m. The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is encouraging youngsters or families to decorate their bikes with Christmas magic, tinsel or lights and join in on the parade as well. Lineup for the parade will be at 3 p.m. in the Fairfield Elementary School parking lot.
