Whitaker delivers as cutting-edge community member

Randall Whitaker has had some interesting occupations that have to do with delivery.

The 1962 Fairfield High School graduate served from 1966-1970 in the United States Air Force. During much of that time he served in the Transportation Sector, assuring fallen soldiers from all branches of service were delivered respectfully home to their final resting place.

Whitaker moved back to the area and eventually took the Civil Service exam and began employment as a clerk and carrier in Palestine. In 1982 he was able to transfer to the Fairfield post office to deliver the mail to his hometown.
