All five schools, Fairfield ISD, Teague ISD, Wortham ISD, Dew ISD and Faith Academy of Freestone made the decision on Monday, Jan. 20, which was a scheduled holiday for MLK Day, to close on Tuesday, Jan. 21, as well due to the potential of inclement weather with precipitation in the forecast in addition to freezing temperatures.
