Freestone County Sheriff’s Office arrested two on drugs, weapons and other charges during the execution of a search warrant south of Dew on Highway 75 on the evening of Jan. 19.
Blake Dwayne Duplessis was charged with possession of less than a gram of methamphetamines, less than 2 ounces of marijuana and having a prohibited weapon – with his bonds totaling $16,000.
Mary Loo-Beth Smith was charged with possession of less than a gram of methamphetamines, less than 2 ounces of marijuana, unlawfully carrying a weapon with a felony conviction, resisting arrest, mail theft and criminal trespass with her bonds totaling $187,000.
The cases are being transferred for federal prosecution.
