God made you and has a plan for you

Katy and I enjoyed our long weekend. We were able to rest some and it was very much needed as our lives are so busy. Basketball playoffs are well underway and the Lady Eagles are playing some great basketball.

Life can get difficult at times and we just don’t know what to do. My life verse that I remind myself of daily is Jeremiah 29:11. It says that God has a plan for each one of us.

Although the journey we live in on this world can be difficult at times, God has a purpose for each one of us. Don’t let those around you tell you that you are not good enough. Today’s society puts way too much emphasis on the way we look.

Everywhere you turn, there are commercials for diets and weight loss programs. There is a desire in many of us to be successful and make enough money to provide for our families as well.

I’m not saying any of those things are bad. However, what I am saying is that God created each one of us differently and we are unique. None of us are the same. Please don’t get discouraged because you are not the way society says you should look.

This week’s Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13. It says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Life is extremely busy right now and I find myself coming and going nonstop. I am so blessed to capture all the memories that I do through my camera lens. Working multiple jobs is very difficult at times for me, but I know God has me exactly where he wants me to be.

As you go throughout your week, call out to God and let him be a part of your day. Also, take the time to let those around you know how much they mean to you and that God loves them and has a plan for them as well.

My prayer for us this week is that we will call on the Lord always because he has a plan for us. Until next week, make him famous in all that you do!
