The Fairfield Eagles took third place in the Fairfield Last Qualifying Meet on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 20. The Eagles earned 25 points behind Corsicana (59) and Malakoff (26).
Other schools competing were China Spring (21), Kerens (12), Groesbeck (10), Whitney (8), Pollok Central (8), Corsicana Mildred (8), Malakoff Cross Roads (7), Cayuga (7), and Palestine Westwood (3).
Aiden Adams took third place in the 114 class with a squat of 225 pounds, bench press of 125 pounds, and deadlift of 250 pounds.
