A total of 107 students walked the stage on Friday night, May 24, during the Fairfield High School Commencement Exercises at the Johnson Activity Center. The ceremony was moved indoors due to the weather.
Eashan Kalyanji gave the invocation and Lily Beaver followed with the salutatorian address.
FHS Principal Sonya Gibson was not able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances so Counselor Cindy Kirgan talked about the awards the Class of 2024 received as well as their mark made on FHS. Graduates received over $1.1 million in scholarships during their senior awards ceremony earlier in the month.
