Teague boys golf team headed to Regionals

Six Lions are headed to Regionals after taking second place at the District golf meet held at the Tri County Golf Club on Monday, March 24, and Monday, March 31st. “We’ve had a great year so far and these guys rose to the occasion when the district meet came along,” Coach Josh Ingram said.

Six Lions are headed to Regionals after taking second place at the District golf meet held at the Tri County Golf Club on Monday, March 24, and Monday, March 31st.

“We’ve had a great year so far and these guys rose to the occasion when the district meet came along,” Coach Josh Ingram said. “They competed from the first tee box to the final green. It was really fun to watch, but we’re not done just yet. Our goals are set high.”

Grayson Dancer shot an 80 in round one and a 71 in round two for a total of 151 and to finish second overall. Carter Stacks shot a 78 in round one and an 84 in round two for a 162 and to grab fourth overall. Landon Evan shot an 86 and a 92 for a total of 178. Jay Craddick shot an 84 and a 95 for a 179. Dylan Gauntt shot a 90 and a 93 for a 183. The team total was a 668 to finish as second place team.
