Three Fairfield High School Ag Mech teams competed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) in March. They are two blue ribbons and a red ribbon.

Adan Espinoza and Cade Nelson earned a blue ribbon and were named the Division Reserve Champion with their welding bed.

Lillian Poole and Connor Petty built a 14’ trailer for the Freestone County Game Management Association that earned a blue ribbon.

Logan Campbell received a red ribbon for his bumper he built. “I’m very proud of them. They put in a lot of hours after school and on days off,” Advisor Clay Sherman said. “Several of them gave up their spring break to come work at the shop to make sure everything would be ready to go.”
