The Groesbeck Pro Rodeo will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. A special slack performance will kick off the weekend on Friday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. Sanctioned by both the UPRA and CPRA, the event will feature the renowned Cadillac Rodeo Company, ensuring top-tier performances from some of the best rodeo athletes in the country.
This year’s rodeo lineup includes a variety of thrilling events for fans to enjoy: Mutton Bustin’, Ranch Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Bull Riding, Ladies Barrels, Team Roping, and Ladies Breakaway Roping. From young competitors in Mutton Bustin’ to seasoned professionals battling it out in bull riding and roping events, the weekend will feature fierce competition and plenty of action.
With a $3,000 added money prize pool, this year’s rodeo is set to feature intense competition. Contestants will vie for the top prizes, ensuring a highstakes, action-packed event for all.
After the rodeo wraps up on Sunday, attendees can enjoy a lively Mariachi Osos Dorados concert. The vibrant mariachi performance will add a festive atmosphere to the fairgrounds, making it the perfect end to a thrilling weekend of rodeo.
