The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19, at the Freestone County Courthouse from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be crafts, face painting, egg dying, pony carousel, and cotton candy. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance as well.
There will be egg hunts based on age divisions. Please make sure you bring a basket for your eggs.
KNES Texas 99.1 will be hosting a Running for the Paws Color Run on Saturday morning, April 19, at the Freestone County Courthouse as well. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The color run will start at 9 a.m. and awards will be at 10 a.m.
Categories include men, women, Kids 12 and Under, and Team. Each category winner will receive a trophy and bragging rights. There will be a special prize for the best themed outfit.
Mimosa Morning will also be held at businesses in Fairfield on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon.
Accessories, Etc., which is located at 115 E. Commerce St., will have green fluff salad. All Tyler Candle Co. products will be 15 percent off.
Freeman’s Flowers, located at 101 W. Commerce St. will have egg-tastic delights.
Kennedy’s Korner, which is located at 124 S. Keechi, will be serving peach mango mimosas and donut holes. There will be a 20 percent off storewide sale happening on regular priced items.
Pack ‘N Mail, located at 412 E. Commerce will have eggcellent mimosas and various finger foods. There will be a 20 percent off storewide sale going on as well.
Dessert by Mommacakes, which is located at 105 S. Mount, will be having bad bunny bellinis and assorted goodies. There will be Dare to Win games as well.
Armadillo Emporium and Juls by Jul, located at 101 W. Commerce St., will eb having pineapple mimosas and strawberry cream danishes. There will be vendor discounts throughout. There will be 20 percent off on garden art as well as Juls by Jul accessories.
The Jaded Spade, which is located at 503 E. Commerce St. is offering OG mimosas and Jaded Snacks. They will have a 15 percent off entire purchase deal going on as well.
The Courtesy Restaurant, located at 405 E. Commerce St., will have aperol spritz, champagne spritz, and elderflower spritz. There will be a non-alcohol option too. A special menu will be available as well.
Jenerosity & Phluff, which is located at 125 E. Commerce St. will have a selection of spring petit fours and refreshing fruit infused water. They will have giveaways and a limited supply of mini baskets, bunny hugs, and candies.
