There is something to the claim that history repeats itself. I realize that people running these Iphones think if it hasn’t flashed on their screens in the last 30 seconds, it didn’t happen. In the period during WWI with Europe torn to pieces, American agriculture boomed and farmers were saying they would never have another poor day. In the 1920’s Europe came back into production, farm prices plummeted and a depression flowed through rural America while the cities enjoyed the roaring 20’s. 03/21/2025 09:10 AM

Spring break was a much needed break last week. Katy and I were able to rest some. We also enjoyed playing with our nephew, Boone. There are only about nine weeks of school left. Summer will be here before we know it. 03/21/2025 09:10 AM

Good news, bad news on the lake
Good news, bad news on the lake
This week’s report has one of those “Good News & Bad News” scenarios with the Good News being that the White Bass and Hybrid Stripers are now showing up on the Main Lake and we will soon be loading the ice chest with lots of both! As much as we hate to call off a fishing trip, over the past 25 years we have learned to respect the weather and always err on the side of safety when it comes to battling the elements on Lake Richland Chambers. 03/21/2025 09:10 AM
