Riding out the Polar Express
Riding out the Polar Express
Not too much to report this week as we were able to begin the year by conducting a few trips and then the POLAR EXPRESS HIT WITH COLD TEMPERATURES, RAIN AND STRONG WINDS and we shut it down for the week! The Catfish were biting aggressively on those early 2025 trips and we enjoyed fast action on both Blue and Channel Cats by fishing Coves near Fisherman’s Point Marina as well as windblown Shorelines. On those days, we avoided making the long, windy boat ride up the Richland Creek to the areas we normally fish, “hid out” in a couple of coves on the South Shoreline near the Marina and made “Lemonade out of Lemons”! All our Customers went home with some nice filets for their Fish Fry and even more memories and pictures to add to the scrapbook. 01/17/2025 02:31 PM
