I initially thought it was National Pet Week, but it seemed more like National Donut Week! The week started on a sweet note when Carl generously donated blueberry cake donuts on Monday morning. Sharon added to the feast with an assortment of sugar and oatmeal cookies for everyone. On Thursday, Barbara brought delicious fruit-filled pastries, and Kim contributed an assortment of donuts on Friday. We’ve been fortunate to enjoy early morning coffee and fellowship while appreciating the kindness of our “SWEET” folks! Thankfully, they were thoughtful enough to take out all the calories!

NSDAR honors Fairfield History Club
Jonathan Hardin Chapter, NSDAR met in Mexia at Gibbs Memorial Library on Wednesday, April 9, for the regular monthly meeting with twenty members and five guests present. The meeting was opened by Regent Patti Gauntt.
