Fairfield swept by Little River Academy in Bi-District series
The Fairfield Eagles fell to the Little River Academy Bumblebees 13-0 and 3-1 this past week in the Bi-District Championship to have their season come to an end. The Eagles finish the year with an 18-10 overall record.

Lady Eagles win 4x200 relay again, set school record
AUSTIN - The quartet of Blake Brackens, NaKayla Conner, Madox Mitchael and Avery Thaler will forever be etched into the legacy of Fairfield girls track and field. The four athletes not only won the Class 3A girls 4x200-meter relay at last Thursday’s state track and field meet, they also did so in record fashion.

Family confirms identity of deceased woman
The family of a Fairfield woman who’s body was found on March 28 confirmed her identity. Denise Lissette Ramos, 22, was found dead at a residence located on 800 Clark Street.
